CMA AAMA: Medical Assistant Program Overview at MXC
The Advanced Certificate in Medical Assisting (AC) program at Malcolm X College, part of the City Colleges of Chicago, is an excellent and fully accredited pathway into the local healthcare field. Program Curriculum and Outcomes
The curriculum is robust, providing instruction in the essential cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills, and affective behaviors required at the entry level. Graduates are prepared to sit for two important credentials certified by American Medical Technologists (AMT):
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Registered Phlebotomy Technician (RPT)
