Mid Michigan College offers high-quality training through its Medical Assistant (MA) Program, preparing you for a career in a field with an 18% projected job growth rate in Michigan. We provide two distinct pathways for aspiring medical assistants.
Program Pathways
Students may choose between two options:
- 10-Month Training Credential: This 39-credit option takes approximately two semesters, offering rapid entry into the workforce.
- Associate in Applied Science Degree: This comprehensive 64-credit degree takes approximately six semesters.
Both pathways cover core Medical Assisting subjects, including medical terminology, pharmacology, and insurance billing, ensuring you are fully prepared to sit for the highly regarded CMA (AAMA) certification exam.
Program Experience and Outcomes
Located in Mt. Pleasant, Mid Michigan College is recognized for its experienced faculty and small cohort sizes, which ensure personalized attention for every student.
