Program Details and Curriculum
To earn the Medical Assisting MA22 Diploma, students must complete a minimum of 54 credit hours. The comprehensive curriculum covers essential Basic Skills courses (like Foundations of Mathematics and Basic Psychology) alongside specialized Occupational Courses, including Structure & Function of the Human Body, Pharmacology in the Medical Office, and a capstone Medical Assisting Externship (MAST 1170).
Accreditation and Certification
The program holds accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
