Lillie is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and clinical instructor. Vice President of Leadership for the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Alpha Theta Chapter, she was nominated as a Phi Theta Kappa International Scholar in 2017. Lillie teaches phlebotomy and professional development, in addition to co-administrating an active Certified Clinical Medical Assistant group on Facebook. Currently, she is attending Galen College of Nursing in Louisville, Kentucky. Future goals include working with addiction and infectious disease while studying to become a Nurse Practitioner.
She classifies herself as a joyful nerd with a huge love of everything Medical Assisting. As a single mom on welfare, with no education or hope for a better future, she knows what it is like to start from nothing. Medical Assisting changed her life and she is most excited to see the transformation in others as they achieve goals they never thought possible.
